Why Do I Feel Rushed on the Pickleball Court?

Sometimes the court seems to speed up.
The ball comes faster.
The opponent looks quicker.
The kitchen line feels crowded.
The point feels like it is arriving before you are ready.
And near the end of a game, it can get even worse.
You see the finish line.
You want to close it out.
You want the point to be over.
Suddenly, time starts running.

A tip from the world of brain physiology. The cerebellum runs physical processes. The Prefrontal Cortex (PFC) deals with (among other things) time measurement and self-image.

If you feel rushed on court, which one do you think is activated?
